This could require a full flushing. An Injection pump is precision peice of kit that needs carefull striping and re-building. The outside face seems to have holes for the gear retaining bolts, Im guessing the inside face is machined to the inspection whole so that the pump gear is held in place without disrupting the t-belt. You might like to try as a last resort a known good injector pump. This can be resolved in situ quite easaly, the nasty leak is the drive shaft seal.
