Using my voltmeter, I did a continuity test with one lead on the blue-grey cable, and the other against the dome light bulb socket with the switch in the always on position. The window works fine as does the wing mirror, it's just the door doesn't seem to be registering as being opened so the light doesn't come on and no notification on the dash of a door open. Anyone had this issue before? All vehicles: — Press in light switch -1-, turn to right and pull out. Are there updated links showing how to fix this anywhere? This time I had no issues getting the panels off under the dash, the trick is to first pop the fuse panel compartment cover off first it just clips in. Unless anyone has another suggestions? I dont have a Bently for this car yet. When I open the driver door there is no puddle light or note on the dash to say that the door is open. I'll only show one light replacement as the driver and passenger sides are both the same. Note t When doing this the radio release tool -3316- must not be pushed to the side or tilted. Maybe I could get her to enter through the passanger side. This photo shows a small screw driver inserted into the notch in the side of the light assembly. Remove the torx screw underneath outlined in green.
Tried all the Dome light positions. Take note of the arrow which shows where to gently place a small screw driver to leverage the light fitting out of the boot plastic. If you do not want to remove the shifter surround, you can leave the 2 front screws in. It is a different auto that is for sure! However with some patience the assembly can be removed safely. From there it's really just a matter of using the right tools so you don't scratch or damage the fitting or your car. I am atrying to remove the interior light switch assy.

I have replaced fuse 15 in the dash fuse board no change. It's not a huge problem and they work fine, but if you are fussy like me it'll possibly be annoying.
Having the exact same problem and double checking the fuses I was relieved to have found this post. . Installation is the reverse of removal. It's not really a big deal to me not having the light go on when the door opens but the wife and the alarm don't get along too well with the current setup. Take the left panel off, then the right panel off.
